So my partner and I are settling into the new place! Things are going well, but unpacking goes kind of slowly. The kitchen is the only room that's all unpacked. It's a little maddening to not have easy access to my tools. This month I'm investigating getting some workspace at the local makerspace and setting up a crafting area in the house as well.
The immediate next steps for the Riven project don't even require having a fully functioning workspace--I just need to locate and unpack my metal plates and clamps and brass discs so I can do more experiments with PNP Blue transfers. Still need to find the perfect temperature/pressure/time combination and make sure there are no tiny flaws in my design or in the output from the printer I use. Because getting the process tuned to produce flawless transfers of my designs to metal is important to me! So at a minimum, that's what I want to work on this month, hopefully more if I can get into the makerspace.
